AIDS Foundation Houston's 32nd annual Walk to End HIV is now taking individual and team registrations for a virtual walk.

Participants can choose any kind of activity, from walking and running to dancing and singing, to raise money toward fighting HIV in Houston.

“AFH is on a mission to end the HIV epidemic in Houston by 2030,” AFH CEO John Huckaby said in a news release. “Advances in treatment offer real hope for people living with HIV to live healthy lives, while PrEP, a once-daily pill to prevent HIV, means that we can drastically slow the acquisition of HIV. Funds raised from the Walk to End HIV are vital to the work being done communitywide to reach this goal.”

Registration is open at http://aidswalkhouston.org until the conclusion of the fundraiser April 1.

On April 9, AFH will host a virtual celebration to recognize the top fundraisers, present grants to local agencies and honor the 2021 AIDS Walk partners.
