Houston ISD Superintendent Millard House II and members of the board of trustees will host a series of town halls starting Sept. 15 to hear from the public on the district's future.

Most sessions will be in-person at schools throughout the district, and one town hall will be held virtually. The sessions are open to the public, and participants will be able to discuss what they believe are key issues moving forward.

The dates, times and locations for the town halls are:
  • Sept. 15 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Sterling High School, 11625 Martindale Road, Houston
  • Sept. 20 from 6-7 p.m., held virtually (https://bit.ly/3kFvf2z)
  • Sept. 22 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Heights High School, 413 East 13th St., Houston
  • Sept. 23 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Chavez High School, 8501 Howard Drive, Houston
  • Sept. 27 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Carnegie Vanguard High School, 1501 Taft St., Houston
  • Sept. 28 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Westbury High School, 11911 Chimney Rock Road, Houston
  • Sept. 30 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Bellaire High School, 5100 Maple St., Bellaire
  • Oct. 1 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Sharpstown High School, 7504 Bissonnet St., Houston
