Main Bird, a popular hot chicken spot, opened a new location in Houston along Washington Avenue in early August.

At a glance

Main Bird started in 2020 as a single food truck serving fully halal, Nashville-style hot chicken before growing into a multi-location restaurant across the Greater Houston area. The locally-owned business has seven other locations around Houston, including one in Montrose.

The Washington Avenue restaurant is located inside apartment complex The Vic at Interpose.
