XO Eats + Entertainment, a new dining and nightlife experience, opened on Washington Avenue in Houston this spring, a spokesperson said.

XO features two levels, two patios, an immersive speakeasy, an event space and a main dining room.

The venue is opening in two phases, with the first phase opening in mid-March, the representative said. Coined "XO After Dark," it includes live entertainment ranging from live DJs, live bands, poetry and comedy. The second phase will include XO's restaurant experience and is anticipated to open in late spring.

The brand's ethos is rooted in diversity, inclusivity and Houston's rich culture, the spokesperson said. This will involve innovative cocktails and a melding of modern and global cuisine, such as seafood pasta, boudin balls and gumbo.
