American rapper Bun B is opening three new locations of his popular restaurant, Trill Burgers, this summer, including a location on Westheimer Road.

What we know

Trill Burgers announced the openings March 8 in a social media post, the same day the Houston icon celebrated his "birthday bonanza" at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo.

The new Houston location will be located at 7616 Westheimer Road just outside of the Greater Uptown area. It is anticipated to open this summer, according to the Instagram post.

Two other locations that were announced for openings this year, include:
  • 6810 Louetta Road, Spring (opening soon)
  • 20220 Fort Bend Parkway, Ste. 140, Missouri City (opening this summer)
The three new restaurants will create a total of four Trill Burgers locations across the Greater Houston region, with the first location opening on Shepherd Drive in 2023.


Trill Burgers is also available to purchase at a pop-up tent in the food court at the Houston Rodeo until March 23.

What's on the menu

Trill Burgers serves smash burgers, which are burgers that have been smashed onto a hot griddle or skillet.

The menu offers the OG Burger, a double-patty with cheese and grilled onions; the Triple OG Burger, with three patties, cheese, onions and bacon; and the Vegan OG or Triple Vegan OG Burger, made with two or three plant-based patties with cheese and onions.
