His new restaurant, Camaraderie, plans to open in the Heights neighborhood in early 2025.

“My father taught me the value of independence and sparked my desire to open a restaurant," Gawle said in the news release. "Witnessing the culture he created at his restaurant, I’ve known that for a fulfilling career, I need to be in an environment that brings me joy. As I’ve navigated my career from city to city, I’ve gained invaluable experiences and formed meaningful connections. These relationships have fueled my passion and happiness in the industry."

Gawle's vision for Camaraderie is a "convivial fine-casual" neighborhood restaurant focusing on a warm sense of hospitality and connection for guests. The kitchen is at the heart of the project and is on full display to the dining room, designed to be warm and familial, per the release.

“Connecting with people brings me joy, whether through the intimate experience of sharing food or the rewarding process of mentorship, I thrive on these interactions," Gawle said. "Opening Camaraderie represents my vision of creating a welcoming culture where I can help others grow and share my passion for hospitality. My goal is to make people happy, not just through great food, but by fostering genuine connections within a vibrant community."
