The owners of The Post Beer & Wine Garden in the Heights opened a new neighborhood bar in October called Heights Hideaway.

Branded as cozy cocktail bar experience, the location is located off of Cavalcade Street and features a small, intimate bar top, warm lighting, light bites and an outdoor patio.

Looking for a libation?

The cocktail menu features signature drinks, handcrafted old fashioneds, classic martinis and other spirits. House cocktails include the Pepino Margarita with tequila blanco, narano, cucumber and mint; the Penicillin made with scotch, lemon and honey ginger; and the Toast to the Post, a mescal sour with a red wine floater.

The establishment also offers classic $12 old fashioneds. Options with a twist include the Elvis Presley Old Fashioned crafted with banana peanut butter whiskey, or the Cartel Old Fashion made with coconut cartel anejo rum. Guests can also order a classic espresso martini, dirty martini or cucumber gimlet.


Something to note

The Heights Hideaway happy hour is Tue.-Fri. from 4-6 p.m. with $8 house cocktails. A featured whiskey is also available for a discounted price every Wednesday for Whiskey Wednesdays.
