Just west of downtown, the 28,000-square-foot space offers a rooftop with views of Houston’s skyline, event spaces, an on-site brewery and tap room, according to the business’s website.Tejas also has dining options, with appetizers such as loaded nachos, brewhouse pretzel bites and elote mac and cheese balls. Its entrees include tacos, burgers, pizzas and chicken flautas.
Varieties of Tejas Beer include a coffee porter, India pale ale, negra, clara, lager and a hefeweizen—served by the pitcher or the pint.
Other libations include half bottles of wine and cocktails crafted with whiskey, vodka or gin.What else?
Grand opening weekend Sept. 12-14 will feature live entertainment and giveaways, according to the Tejas Brewery's Facebook page.
