Located at 420 E. 20th St., Houston, Jūn—pronounced like June—is an homage to family and people born in June, including Garcia, who appeared on season 19 of “Top Chef,” according to a press release.
The restaurant's opening night is Feb. 7, and brunch services will begin in a few weeks. Jūn is taking reservations and offers limited bar and counter seating for walk-ins.
The eatery will be open on Sundays-Thursdays from 5-10 p.m. and on Fridays-Saturdays from 5-11 p.m.
