The Woodlands-based Italian eatery Zanti Cucina Italiana opened in early November in the River Oaks Shopping Center at 1958 W Gray St., Houston.

The eatery specializes in made-from-scratch Italian dishes while offering a bar area with a mixology and wine program. The new venue features 7,747 square feet of interior space and 1,192 square feet of patio space, Community Impact previously reported.

At a grand opening event Nov. 5, restaurant officials announced they raised $21,300 for the nonprofit Sky High for Kids through a fundraising effort that took place during the soft opening phase.
