The eatery is being launched by restaurateur Jason Cho and Chef Yurum “KP” Nam, according to a Nov. 2 press release. Cho's other Houston area restaurants include the Korean fried chicken spot Dak & Bop in the Lazybrook/Timbergrove area.
The venue will offer prime beef, American and Japanese wagyu, and meats that are dry-aged in-house and cooked to order tableside, according to the release. Guests can also reserve private dining rooms that will feature a multicourse chef’s tasting menu. Traditional steakhouse dishes will be served with twists inspired by Korean culinary roots.
Karne will also offer a cocktail list and 173 wines.
