A new rooftop lounge is slated to debut Sept. 16 at the Georgia James steakhouse at 3505 W. Dallas St., Houston, featuring fire pits and a view of the downtown Houston skyline.

Located within the Regent Square mixed-use development, Georgia James is a concept from Underbelly Hospitality specializing in cast-iron seared steaks while also offering seafood options and a selection of sides. The eatery relocated from Westheimer Road to Regent Square in July.

The rooftop lounge will span 11,000 square feet with dual terraces, barrio lighting and seating for 150 people, according to a Sept. 15 press release. Roughly 4,000 square feet of the lounge will be dedicated to an indoor dining area.

A special menu for the rooftop will feature new offerings, such as marinated crab fingers with a cane vinegar marinade and mirliton slaw; pork rillette served with mustard, toasted focaccia and house pickles; and shrimp and grits with tabasco sofrito and country ham. Other popular Georgia James items will also be available on the roof, where guests can also order spirits, wine and beer, according to the release.
