The concept is under construction at 7022 Old Katy Road, Houston, and bills itself as a modern take on commercial and storage spaces. Unlike traditional coworking and storage spaces, XSpace customers can own their units outright.
Unit owners at the Austin location use their spaces for storage, offices, gyms and podcast studios, among other uses, according to an email from Co-founder Byron Smith.
"The company is really focused on fostering a community for the new way in which people are working and using commercial space post-pandemic, and tenants also have the opportunity to own and invest in the space—not just rent," Smith said.
XSpace is almost sold out of Tier 1-priced units, but other units remain for sale at the Heights location.
Drive-up access is available to all units, as seen by virtual walkthrough, and the property will have 24/7 security.
