Demo Monday: Chelsea Market high rise and more demolition permit activity in Houston, June 3-7


Demolition permits were issued this week for the Chelsea Market retail center at 4617 Montrose Blvd., alongside Hwy. 59, to make way for a 325-unit high-rise apartment building by Alliance Residential.

At 15 stories, the building will have units ranging from 651 to 1,392 square feet and four stories of underground parking that will hold over 450 vehicles, according to information from design firm EDI International.
