Body Orbit is the first-of-its-kind wellness experience where customers can receive the city's only body roll massage. A body roll massage is a massage that uses a machine with rollers to massage the body in a hands-free experience.

Officials from Body Orbit said the studio also focuses on services such as lymphatic drainage and myofascial release, which includes a gentle massage to move lymph fluid away from swollen areas in the neck, muscles and joints.

However, instead of a typical masseuse, massages are performed by advanced European machines that control the pressure and speed of sessions. The machines are anticipated to help improve circulation, reduce water retention and target cellulite, while infrared and collagen lamps enhance skin elasticity and detoxification, according to the Body Orbit website.

Owner Maria Dumler said she founded the business on the belief that effective wellness should be accessible and sustainable.


"Our goal is to provide a space where clients can enjoy highly effective treatment without high costs or complicated procedures," she said. "This European-inspired wellness concept is making waves in the industry, offering a holistic, tech-enabled approach to body care that is unique to Houston."
