To commemorate the milestone, the organization will host a weekend of events on Nov. 1-2.
The nonprofit promotes community spirit and beautification in and around the Houston Heights, according to its website. Any proceeds from events and donations go toward restoring and maintaining the neighborhood’s landmarks and parks.
Groovy Night: The weekend festivities begin with this 1970s-themed party at the Historic Heights Fire Station, featuring live music, food from local businesses and dancing.
