River Oaks Salon opened Jan. 2 on Westheimer Road, offering a full menu of hair salon services and a selection of beauty products for sale.

The salon was launched by Casey Clay, who previously owned Shyn Salon for 15 years at 321 W. Alabama St., Houston. In addition to rebranding and renaming the business, Clay said he moved his entire team to the new business.

River Oaks Salon offers hair cuts for men and women as well as coloring, highlights and bayalage, among other services.

"We are beyond thrilled to open our doors and become part of the vibrant River Oaks community," Clay said in a statement. "We’re dedicated to building lasting relationships that understand the needs and wants of each of our clients.”
