The first Houston location of the fashion retailer and luxury cowboy boot brand Miron Crosby opened Nov. 17 within the Lamar-River Oaks shopping center at 3270 Westheimer Road, Houston, the former location of the River Oaks Bookstore.

Miron Crosby was launched in Dallas in 2017 by sisters and Texas natives Lizzie Means Duplantis and Sarah Means. The shop offers cowboy boots and western wear with elements of avant-garde design and high fashion, according to a Nov. 16 news release.

The new venue features hand-painted murals of desert Texas scenes, a vintage Spanish bar serving up drinks to guests as well as a secluded custom design room.

“We know that Houstonians take immense pride in their boot wear, and we are committed to offering a high-quality product that any Houstonian would be proud to wear in their everyday life, as well as to the ranch and rodeo and beyond,” Lizzie Means Duplantis said in a statement.
