Houstonians will be able to step into a world filled with interactive optical illusions, colorful 3D holograms and enough space for all the selfies that might fool the eye.

The Museum of Illusions is coming to the Houston Galleria this summer, leasing officials said in a news release. Exhibits will fill the 5,749-square-foot-space at 5060 West Alabama St., located directly next to the West Alabama Street entrance of the mall. For visitors coming by car, they can park at the Westin Galleria parking garage. The museum is also accessible by the METRORail red line, according to the museum’s website.

“Entertainment and social media experiences are actively expanding throughout the country,” Transwestern Managing Director Crystal Allen said. “We are thrilled to bring this attraction to the Houston market.”

Guests can expect an immersive experience suitable for all ages, officials said. Construction on the space began April 2022. Once completed, this will make the third Museum of Illusions location in Texas.
