The Houston bakery Crave turns 15 years old in May, and store officials are celebrating with the debut of a new, limited-time cupcake flavor.

Crave customers will be able to purchase the red velvet cheesecake-flavored cupcake starting May 15, but it will only be available through June 5, according to a May 4 news release from Crave. The new flavor puts a twist on a one of Crave's best sellers—the red velvet cupcake—according to the release.

The red velvet cheesecake flavor is made with a traditional Texas red cocoa cupcake and housemade cheesecake filling, topped with sweet cream cheese frosting and dusted with graham cracker crumbs. It is available at the individual original size for $4.50, and customers can also purchase mini cupcakes by the dozen for $28.

Crave was founded in 2008 by Elizabeth Harrison Cooper, her husband, Peter Cooper, and business partner Brad Dorsey. Locations can be found in Uptown Park, the West University area and The Woodlands. In addition to bakery items, the shop also sells small-batch craft coffee.

“Customer feedback guides much of what we do here and the flavors we offer," Elizabeth Harrison Cooper said in a statement. "We know Houstonians will love this delicious new flavor inspired by one of their all-time favorites.”
