Studio A Salon, founded by hairstylist David Armendariz, had its last day of service at its Rice Village location at 2411 Sunset Blvd., Houston, on March 25. The salon offers haircuts and hair color as well as wax, lash extension and makeup services. Studio A also does bridal hair and makeup for clients.
"A bittersweet day, but we are excited for this new adventure in The Heights," owners wrote in a March 24 post on the brand's Facebook page.
Studio A Salon is open Monday from noon-5 p.m.; Tuesday from 9 a.m.-8 p.m.; Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m.-6 p.m.; Thursday from 9 a.m.-7 p.m.; and Saturday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
