The natural flavor of Thai green tea paired with milk and tapioca balls give Thirstea’s cream Thai green tea a sweet, light flavor with a chew to go along with it. The drink is sold for $3.25.

Thirstea, which opened in early June, serves a variety of traditional cold teas as well as cream teas, frappes, smoothies, slushies and iced coffees. With 69 different flavors, drinks at Thirstea are made with natural ingredients rather than powder, said Chris Nguyen, who works at the shop. Each drink has a customizable amount of sugar and the option to mix flavors.

Nguyen said the cream Thai green tea has a unique taste.

“The Thai green tea is kind of an acquired taste,” he said. “It [has] a really fresh taste to it. It kind of tastes like bubble gum.”

Thirstea also serves a variety of sushi rolls, sandwiches, noodles and poke bowls.
