Bethesda Lutheran Communities provides home care, day programs, employment and educational support for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. BLC seeks volunteers to conduct Bible classes, provide transportation, perform home visits to provide fellowship and devotions, and cleans houses. Cy-Fair Helping Hands serves homeless and hungry individuals and families throughout the region. The program seeks volunteers to participate on the homeless outreach team, deliver care packages to men and women living on the streets, work in the food pantry and the soon-to-be started community garden or serve as mentors to homeless high school students in Cy-Fair ISD. Volunteers visit weekly with those living on the streets. During the holidays, volunteers provide Thanksgiving meals to the community.
