1. Kuykendahl Road bridge
The construction of the bridge over Spring Creek is a joint participation project between The Woodlands Road Utility District No. 1, Montgomery County Precinct 3 and Harris County Precinct 4. WRUD gave notice to proceed on Sept. 26. The construction contract allows for nine months. Completion of the project is expected by the third quarter of 2017.

2. I-45 HOV lanes open
The I-45 HOV southbound and northbound main lanes from FM 1960 to South Loop 336 in Conroe are open.

3. Gosling Road widening Segment 1
Widening work began Oct. 3, and the contract allocates 12 months for completion.

4. Gosling Road widening segments 2 and 3
Segment 2 of the project includes a widening from two to four lanes between West Mossy Oaks and West Rayford roads. Segment 3 is a widening of Gosling Road from two to four lanes between West Rayford Road and north of Creekside Forest Drive. Segments 2 and 3 are in the design phase. Harris County’s goal is to put Segment 2 up for bid in the first quarter of 2017 and Segment 3 in the second quarter of 2017.

5. Spring Stuebner Road widening
The project will widen a section of the road from two lanes to four lanes just west of I-45. It is in the study phase, and Harris County plans to put it out for bid in 2017.

6. Veterans Memorial Drive turn lane
The Veterans Memorial Drive project includes installation of missing segments of the turn lane between West Green Road and FM 1960, with traffic signal and intersection upgrades. It is in the study phase.
