There is a small glimmer of hope Tuesday morning as Tropical Storm Harvey pushes east. ABC 13 meteorologists are expecting an additional 1-3 inches of rain Tuesday as the tropical storm makes its move through the Gulf. Meteorologist Travis Herzog said because the storm traveled further east than expected, a Flash Flood Watch for much of southeast Texas has been reconfigured and reduced in time. A number of counties west of Houston are now out of the Flash Flood Watch, and the amount of rain expected across the Greater Houston area will be far less than the region has seen over the last few days. Houston and surrounding areas are in the middle of an unprecedented flooding emergency. Water levels were coming down in some places Tuesday morning, but new rain that has fallen is causing bayou water levels to rise again. An additional 9-13 inches of rain fell in spots across the Greater Houston area on Monday. From ABC 13
