On Jan. 31, representatives with 25 private schools from the surrounding northwest Houston area will gather for the annual Northwest Private School Preview. Schools use the event as an opportunity to share information with attendees about curriculum, athletics, tuition and extracurricular activities.
The free event will be held from 3-5 p.m. in the Schindledecker building of the Bradley McWilliams YMCA, 19915 Hwy. 249, Houston. Representatives will be present from private, independent, and parochial schools in the northwestern Houston area.
This event marks the 14th time the private schools have gathered to give an informational preview to families in the area.
“It’s a time for all the private schools in the area to get together as a group and support each other,” said Eryn Wrobleske, an event organizer from the Connection School of Houston.
Representatives from each school will be able to speak individually with interested families and answer any questions. Attendees will also receive a chance to win a $500 tuition voucher to use at one of the participating schools.
“[The event] benefits the whole community because it brings all the private schools together to learn from each other and it also gives families the opportunity to check out every option available in the area,” Wrobleske said.
