The Conroe ISD board of trustees approved two new senior-level administrators during its regular meeting Oct. 20.
Darrin Rice will replace Dan Cox as the district’s new chief financial officer. Cox plans to retire in December. Rice has worked in the district’s finance department for 25 years.
The board also approved Curtis Null as deputy superintendent for schools. He has 15 years of experience working in education and previously served as assistant superintendent of secondary education.
“When I first came to this district 15 years ago, I could never have imagined my journey would lead me to work and serve with so many great people,” Null said.
Null’s new position is held by Chris Hines, who will serve as the district’s new deputy superintendent for operations.
