All Cy-Fair ISD campuses earned a Met Standard—the highest possible rating—from the Texas Education Agency for the second consecutive year.

"We are doing amazing, and it really gets down to the campus level," CFISD board president Don Ryan said. "I've always thought it boils down to the teacher in the classroom and the support staff on the campus. This is a great reflection of what's going on here in Cy-Fair ISD."

The state ranks districts on four index targets to measure student performance. To receive the Met Standard rating, high schools must meet all four targets, and elementary and middle schools must meet the first three targets.

"Every employee in this district is hired for one reason, and that's to support the classroom," Superintendent Mark Henry said. "Whether you're a custodian, cafeteria worker or admin- istrator, it's all to serve the classroom. That's what we hope to see 100 percent of the time."
