The summer drink menu at Kirby’s Prime Steakhouse features five unique martinis; the most popular martini is the Boozy Melon.
The Boozy Melon is made with Western Son watermelon vodka—which is distilled in Pilot Point, Texas—fresh-squeezed orange juice and a basil leaf.
Beverage Director Jessica Oswald said fresh ingredients and creative cocktail recipes are what make the bar menu unique.
“We try and focus on using fresher ingredients in our drinks,” Oswald said. “A lot of the cocktails are created by myself or our staff.”
Oswald said the eatery devotes a large amount of space to the bar area, and Kirby’s caters to all different groups of customers with varying tastes in drinks.
In addition to the summer menu, happy hour specials are also offered every day from 5-7 p.m. and include $1 off beer, $2 off cocktails and $5 for select wines.
