Drizzled with chocolate and topped with whipped cream, Plum Coffee's candy bar mocha is sure to tempt anyone's sweet tooth with a combination of vanilla, chocolate and hazelnut flavors.

The candy bar mocha can be served either hot, iced or as a frappe, and it comes in three different sizes that range in price from $4.50–$5.50. Customers can pick their choice of milk and whether they want it topped with whipped cream.

"The frappe version of the candy bar mocha is the only one not served with espresso because it has a coffee base, and that is what makes it milky and creamy," owner Mia Jamal said.

Jamal sources all of her locally roasted coffee from Houston-based business Java Coffee and Tea, off Westheimer Road.

"It's one small business dealing with another," Jamal said. "We are the definition of mom and pop."

In addition to mochas, Plum Coffee has a variety of drinks on the menu, such as lattes, cappuccinos, frappes, smoothies, Italian sodas, lemonade and milkshakes.
