Another Broken Egg is bringing its southern-inspired breakfast and lunch dishes to the Houston market with a new location set to open Jan. 20 in Vintage Park.

"We felt that area of Houston matched a lot of our target items we needed in order to pick a location," said Nick Binnings, vice president of brand development for Another Broken Egg. "We drilled it down to Vintage Park because it's a lifestyle center and has several good site characteristics that we thought would make us successful."

The restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and brunch items such as eggs benedict, shrimp and grits, egg scramblers and sweet potato pancakes. Healthy options such as granola, a skinny omelet and quinoa are also available. Another Broken Egg has a full bar as well, offering breakfast cocktails such as mimosas and bellinis.

"We've taken breakfast to the next step," Binnings said. "We use high-quality items and the best ingredients we can find."

Prior to officially opening, the restaurant will host a three-day preview event Jan. 16–18. Guests will have the chance to try dishes for free and donate to the following local nonprofits:

Thursday, Jan. 16 benefits the Houston Food Bank from 11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.

Friday, Jan. 17 benefits St. Jude Children's Research Hospital from 9–11 a.m.

Saturday, Jan. 18 benefits the Houston SPCA from 9 a.m.–1 p.m.

Guests are asked to call the restaurant ahead of time at 281-257-3447 and make a reservation if interested in attending the preview event.
