Another Broken Egg Cafe opened its first Pearland location May 16 at 2510 Smith Ranch Road, Ste. 109. The restaurant offers southern-inspired breakfast, brunch and lunch menu options daily until 2 p.m.
The Pearland eatery—which is the third location in the Greater Houston area—will be one of the first to offer Another Broken Egg's new cocktail menu. Officials expect to begin serving cocktails at the end of May.
Drinks are served in branded mason jars, which customers can purchase. Another Broken Egg sells mugs with a Pearland-inspired design as well. 713-436-3447.

Hooters location in Pearland will open in July and feature a centrally located bar with a variety of cocktail and craft beer offerings, according to officials. Located at 15838 S. Hwy. 288, the 6,000-square-foot restaurant will include 400 square feet of patio space.

Jimmy Changas, a sister concept of Gringo's Mexican Kitchen, will open in early August at 3515 Business Center Drive, Pearland. The restaurant offers Tex-Mex cuisine in a family-friendly environment that includes "Jimmy's Jungle," a children's playground on location, officials said. Jimmy Changas is now hiring.
