Cy-Fair ISD announces school closures Feb. 16 due to inclement weather

All Cy-Fair ISD campuses and facilities will be closed Feb. 16, district officials announced at noon Feb. 12, as inclement weather is expected in the Houston area.

Feb. 15 is a student holiday, and district officials said they have communicated modified work locations and schedules for staff members.


Extracurricular activities are canceled Feb. 15-16, but activities planned for Feb. 12-13 will move forward as scheduled.

As of April 19, about 385,600 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been distributed to individuals across the 10 ZIP codes within Cy-Fair ISD’s boundaries, according to the Texas Department of State Health Services.
