Cy-Fair ISD officials announced Aug. 25 that all district facilities will close and student and staff activities canceled Aug. 26-27 due to the threat of Hurricane Laura. Harris County officials have urged residents to prepare for the impending storm as it approaches the Houston area.

Most district staff members are in the midst of professional development sessions on their campuses and are being asked to bring laptops and other materials home.
