1. Hwy. 290 Project G
Collector-distributor lanes running parallel to the Hwy. 290 main lanes are projected to open in 2016. The lanes will provide drivers separate roads to enter and exit the highway. The Hwy. 290 westbound ramp connecting to northbound and southbound lanes of the Sam Houston Tollway is expected to be closed in late January for an estimated five to six weeks as crews continue work on that segment.

2. Grand Parkway segments F-1, F-2 and G
Segments F-1 and F-2 are on target to be complete by the end of 2015. However, portion G, which was targeted for completion at the end of the year, is now projected to be complete in early 2016 because of weather constraints. Construction is being conducted by Zachry-Odebrecht Partners.
Timeline: Early 2016 completion

3. Hwy. 290 Project E
Construction is ongoing on a direct connector from Hwy. 6 northbound to Hwy. 290 eastbound. TxDOT officials said the first bridge structure on the overpass is in place, with construction starting on the second bridge that will connect the first structure to Hwy. 6. The connector is not scheduled to open until the project is complete in late 2017.

4. Telge Road widening
The five-segment widening project will expand the road from two asphalt lanes to four concrete lanes from south of Little Cypress Creek to FM 2920. A portion of the $700 million road bond passed this November will move the project forward.
