MAP: See how much rainfall Cy-Fair received during Tropical Depression Imelda


Tropical Depression Imelda dumped more than 42 inches of rain in parts of the Greater Houston area, but the Cy-Fair area did not receive as much precipitation, according to the Harris County Flood Warning System.

Cy-Fair received between 0.84 inches and 4.60 inches of rainfall from midnight Sept. 19 through the morning of Sept. 20. By comparison, most Cy-Fair area gauges reported between 12-14 inches of rainfall in the 24-hour period between noon Aug. 26 and noon Aug. 27 during Hurricane Harvey.
