Caldwell Companies has broken ground on a new multifamily project called Asher at Towne Lake in Cypress, President and CEO Fred Caldwell confirmed.

The apartment complex, located at 12700 Greenhouse Road, Cypress, is within the Towne Lake community.

The amenities at Asher at Towne Lake, according to the website, include:

• A resort-style pool
• A fitness center with cardio and weight training
• A game room with a sports simulator
• A theater room with surround sound
• A dog park

Construction of the community's clubhouse and pavilion is slated to be completed on July 1, according to a permit filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. However, Caldwell officials did not confirm an official opening date as of press time.
