Cy-Fair ISD cancels after-school activities Sept. 19, reschedules football games

Varsity football season has kicked off in Cy-Fair ISD.

Cy-Fair ISD officials announced Thursday morning that all district after-school activities will be canceled today, Sept. 19, due to inclement weather and potential flooding in the area. Additionally, late buses will not be running, according to an announcement from the district.

Affected activities include all practices, varsity and sub-varsity football and middle school volleyball. Varsity football games will be rescheduled for this weekend:

Northbrook vs. Cypress Falls on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 10 a.m. at Pridgeon Stadium

Langham Creek vs. Cypress Woods on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 11 a.m. at C-F FCU Stadium

All other practices, games and contests on Friday and Saturday will be held as previously scheduled, officials said.
