In a Nov. 4 letter to the community, the Cy-Hope board and Lynda Dierker announced her plans to retire as the executive director of Cy-Hope. The local nonprofit’s mission is to make life better for kids in Cy-Fair.

“This decision has been a long time coming, influenced by my desire to spend more quality time with my husband and enjoy the adventures life still has in store for us,” Dierker said in the letter.
