Officials with the Texas Department of Transportation announced in September that the widening of FM 1774 in Pinehurst is expected to continue into the fourth quarter of 2018, possibly longer.

Harris County Precinct 3 is nearing completion on a $278,000 intersection improvement project at Tuckerton and Huffmeister roads. The project entails extending Huffmeister's northbound left turn lane and adding a southbound right turn lane. It is slated to be complete either this week or next week, according to county officials.
