• One eastbound alternate lane will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday, April 28, until 5 a.m. Monday, May 1 as the contractor switches traffic to new pavement.


• One westbound inside lane will be closed during the same time.

Hwy. 290 eastbound and westbound frontage road at Beltway 8

• One U-turn lane will be closed until 3 p.m. Friday, May 5.


• Drivers can detour through the signalized intersection.

Mueschke Road northbound and southbound under Hwy. 290

• Total closure until 3 p.m. Monday, May 8.


• Drivers can detour to the frontage road and U-turn.

Windfern Road northbound and southbound from Hwy. 290 and W. Little York Road

• Total closure until 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30.


• Drivers can detour to Gessner Road.

Hwy. 290 westbound entrance ramp from Fairbanks North Houston Road

• Total closure until further notice.


• Drivers can use the entrance ramp from Tidwell or W. Little York Road.

Hwy. 290 eastbound connector ramp to Loop 610

• Nightly total closure from 9 p.m.-5 a.m. from Monday, May 1, to Sunday, May 7


• Drivers can detour to the I-10 westbound connector, U-turn at the Wirt/Chimney Rock intersection to I-10 eastbound and continue to Loop 610 southbound or northbound.
