Galiana’s Bakery and Cafe opened April 17 at 24110 Hwy. 290, near Barker Cypress Road. The eatery features an international menu, locally roasted coffee and selection of wines and beer.
The cafe offers different menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast is served all day, and includes burritos, omelettes, skillets and customizable breakfast sandwiches, as well as eggs benedict made with choice of roasted pork, steak or smoked salmon.
The lunch and dinner menu features soups, salads and artisanal sandwiches. All menu items are made to order. Patrons can also purchase fresh baked goods—including croissants, danishes, cakes and fresh breads—or a variety of smaller plates, including seasonal cheese plates and vegetable crudite.
The bakery was opened by David Herrera, who owns and operates several other restaurants in Cy-Fair, including Marvino’s Italian Kitchen, Dario’s Steakhouse and Seafood, and Alicia’s Mexican Grill. The bakery is named after Herrera’s granddaughters, Gabriella and Aliana.
