Freeway Closures
Hwy. 290 westbound from Fairbanks North Houston Road to Gessner Road
- One inside lane will be closed nightly from 9 p.m.-5 a.m. through the morning of Friday, Sept. 30.
Hwy. 290 eastbound connector ramp to southbound Loop 610
- Total closure from 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, through 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24.
- Total closure nightly from 9 p.m.-5 a.m. through the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 27.
- Drivers should detour to northbound Loop 610, exit at Elle Boulevard and U-turn back to southbound Loop 610.
Frontage Road Closures
Hwy. 290 eastbound frontage road at Becker Road
- One outside lane will be closed Saturday, Sept. 24, from 6 a.m.-4 p.m.
Hwy. 290 westbound frontage road at Fairbanks North Houston Road
- One U-turn lane will be closed daily from 7 a.m.-3 p.m. through Tuesday, Sept. 27.
- Total closure of westbound frontage road overnight from 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, to 3 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24. The exit ramp to Gessner Road will also be closed during this time.
- Drivers can detour to the mainlanes and exit back to frontage road at next exit.
Hwy. 290 westbound frontage road at Gesser Road
- One U-turn lane will be closed continuously until 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27.
- Drivers can detour through the intersection.
Street Closures
Becker Road northbound and southbound under Hwy. 290
- Total closure Saturday, Sept. 24, from 6 a.m.-4 p.m.
- Drivers can detour to the frontage road and U-turn.
Gessner Road southbound from Cole Creek to the Hwy. 290 eastbound frontage road
- One outside lane will be closed through 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27.
Friday only closures
The following closures will take place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 23
- Eastbound Hwy. 290 entrance ramp from Senate Avenue
- Westbound Hwy. 290 exit ramp to FM 529
- One eastbound Hwy. 290 frontage road inside lane from Senate Avenue to Beltway 8
