Construction is underway on a new 7,900-square-foot location of Universal Fitness and Health at 11900 Grant Road, Bldg. 2, Houston. Once completed around the end of 2019, the gym will be relocated from its current location at 10111 Grant Road, Ste. B, Houston. Owner David Jenkins said the new location provides more than double the space, which will allow the gym to expand its services, including more group fitness class offerings and more athletic training. The original location will remain open while construction is underway. 832-794-1864. www.universalfit.com
