Creekland Village comprises about 2,300 acres, and developers plan for 3,000 single-family homes and 40 acres of commercial real estate. It is located west of the Grand Parkway and north of Prairieland Village, which held a grand opening last May.
Homes will start at the $290,000s price range with builders including Beazer Homes, Century Communities, Chesmar Homes, Coventry Homes, Gehan Homes, Lennar, Perry Homes and Westin Homes, according to a news release. Model homes should be completed in late spring, when a grand opening celebration will be held.
“We are proud to continue our partnership with some of Houston’s top-rated homebuilders who understand the needs of current and future Bridgeland residents,” said Steve Sams, senior vice president of MPC Residential for The Howard Hughes Corp., in a statement. “Howard Hughes remains deeply committed to creating forward-thinking, environmentally sustainable master-planned communities, and Creekland will embody that philosophy. As with all our villages, Creekland will embrace the area’s ecology to create a synergistic ecosystem and provide residents with a unique, nature-inspired experience.”
Homes in Creekland Village will be zoned to Waller ISD, which already has plans for two elementary schools in Prairieland Village. Creekland Village will also be home to a new Harmony Public Schools campus by 2025, according to the news release.
