Metrostudy Houston, a housing research and analysis company, found approximately 26,000 future homes are planned in the northwest Houston area across five of its largest master-planned communities.

The majority of future lots—more than 17,000—will be a part of Bridgeland, according to Metrostudy, which provided the projections in its first quarter 2018 executive housing and market briefing in May. The next area community on the list was Elyson, which also covers parts of Katy, with more than 5,300 future lots planned.
