Cy-Fair ISD’s annual Bus Buddies program is scheduled for Aug. 23-24.
Each year, community members volunteer to assist elementary school students exit the bus on their correct stop on the first two days of the school year. About 400 volunteers participated in the 2019 event.
Registration is open through Aug. 18. Volunteers can volunteer either or both days of the event, committing to serve from 3:15-5 p.m. Masks are strongly encouraged, officials said.
