Ramsey has 261,430 votes, while Malik has 140,089 of the vote, according to unofficial early voting results.
The context
Precinct 3 is one of four Harris County commissioner precincts and includes parts of Cypress, Houston, Tomball, Spring and Humble.
Ramsey was first elected in November 2020 and has experience as a professional engineer, according to Precinct 3’s website. Meanwhile, Malik has experience as a police officer with Harris County Constables Office Precinct 4.
