The Harris County Precinct 4 constable covers most of the northern portion of Harris County.

Oct. 7 is the last day to register to vote, and Oct. 21 is the first day of early voting. Nov. 1 is the last day of early voting, and Nov. 5 is Election Day.

Why are you running for constable of Harris County Precinct 4?



I am running for re-election to continue our protection of communities with our many crime indicatives.



Why do you think you are the best candidate for the position?



I have been employed at the Precinct 4 Constable's office for 39 years, and worked my way to the number one spot in the department. I understand and lead our close to 700 employees, but more importantly understand the safety needs of the hundreds of communities throughout Precinct 4.



What do you think is the most pressing issue for law enforcement in Harris County Precinct 4?



As our deputies continue to fight crime and make arrests of suspects, our county with certain segments of our court system has made our county a county of little consequence when breaking our laws.



What other issues will you prioritize addressing if elected?



Currently in the process of replacing our dispatch center with the latest radio system. Have purchased many more patrol vehicles, and will continue to provide our deputies with the best safety equipment on the market.



How do you feel the constable’s office can better engage and communicate with residents?



When taking office in 2015, our social media platforms reached out to roughly 15,000 citizens. Today, with all our social media platforms combined we now reach over 1 million followers. In addition, our new App C4Now has been updated and push notifications go out many times a day …

Why are you running for constable of Harris County Precinct 4?



I'm running for Harris County Precinct 4 to enhance deputy training and community interaction. With a rise in local crime, we need officers equipped to respond effectively. I will prioritize advanced training programs, fostering trust, and improving public safety to ensure a safer community for all.



Why do you think you are the best candidate for the position?



I’m the best candidate because I lead with honesty, respect, and integrity—values that can rebuild trust between law enforcement and our community. With crime up, I'll hold deputies accountable and ensure ethical practices, bridging the gap and creating safer, more respectful neighborhoods in Harris County Precinct 4.



What do you think is the most pressing issue for law enforcement in Harris County Precinct 4?



The most pressing issue for Harris County Precinct 4 is the lack of transparency and trust between law enforcement and the community. With an increase in public complaints, I will push for higher standards, more support for deputies, and community policing to foster positive interaction and accountability.



What other issues will you prioritize addressing if elected?



If elected, I will create a dedicated domestic violence division in Harris County Precinct 4. With a rise in domestic violence cases, I’ll implement a program offering victims transportation to counseling and access to recovery resources, fostering stronger relationships between law enforcement and the community.



How do you feel the constable’s office can better engage and communicate with residents?



The constable’s office can better engage residents by regularly sharing crime statistics and safety updates. Transparency builds trust and partnership between law enforcement and the community. By educating residents on local issues like the rise in domestic violence and property crimes, we can foster collaboration for improved public safety.
