Lone Star College-CyFair holds free educational workshops online

With facilities closed throughout the Lone Star College System, local campuses are adapting operations and instruction.

This includes the L.I.F.E., or “Learning, Inspiration, Friendship and Enrichment,” programming offered weekly at Lone Star College-CyFair.


The free L.I.F.E. workshops, typically held on-site, are transitioning to a virtual platform. They can now be found here each Wednesday at 10 a.m. until further notice.

Upcoming events include historical presentations and celebrations of different cultures.

  • May 13: The Bible and the Civil War

  • May 20: The Indian Sari

  • May 27: Travel Series: Scotland
